Design the Dons kit!

Imagine seeing the boys playing Conference South football in a kit designed by you.

AFC Wimbledon are pleased to launch the 2006/2007 Design the Dons kit competition which can make that dream come true - the boys wearing your kit, the Conference South part is down to Dave. If that wasn't enough, you prize will include a trip to the factory to see your design take shape and your very own full replica kit to treasure.

The rules are simple:

1. The home kit must be primarily blue. However there is no restriction for the
away kit.

2. The home kit must use the SI logo. The away kit must use the Football Manager logo. Both kits must use the Tempest logo.

3. Your design needs to include shorts and socks.

You can enter a home kit, an away kit or both and enter as many designs as you wish. The competition is open to anyone and don't worry if you are not technically minded, we will accept paper-based designs in any format - from computer drawings to hand-coloured originals.

All designs must be received by 12noon on Saturday 18 February 2006 - the day of the home match with Windsor & Eton.

The judging panel will consider all designs and entries will then be whittled down to a short-list of five home and five away kit designs. These ten designs will be displayed at the stadium before the matches against Heybridge and Chelmsford and will also appear on the club's official website.

Fans will then be able to vote for their favourite designs at those two matches or by downloading a online entry form.

The winning kit will be announced after the Hampton & Richmond match on Saturday 1 April during the Man of the Match presentation.

The designers of all the short listed kits will each win a 2006-7 shirt and the winning designers will have the chance to go and watch their designs become reality.

So get the crayons out and the thinking caps on.

Entries should be sent to:
