Coaching vacancies

The AFC Wimbledon Youth Development Programme wishes to recruit two coaches to take a leading role in the coaching and development of the under 19 squad at NESCOT college. The roles will be responsible for and will oversee the day-to-day delivery of the coaching programme of the NESCOT squad and will take a senior role in the coaching of AFC Wimbledon Reserves.

The duties are focussed around running the 10 hours of curriculum time coaching and training activities and coaching at under 19 matches. The appointment is for July 2006 to May 2007 and requires a commitment of between 10-20 hours per week depending on academic schedule and fixtures.

These are very important roles and there will be a rigorous selection process including interview and practical work.

Applicants will need to have attained a minimum of an FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football and will ideally hold higher coaching qualifications or be working towards them; however, relevant experience is as important as formal qualifications. All applicants should possess full and up to date Criminal Records Bureaux documentation and be able to provide satisfactory relevant references.
